Lauren, you have done it again! Adorable, funny, and so Lil' White!!! She would do that too don't you know it :) Thanks for bringing me into Friday with a smile. Hugs dear friend~Melissa
This may be my most favorite post of yours yet.....maybe.... well, it's in the top hundred :) I don't think I could choose. You are brilliantly creative and talented. I just love this.
I just got some chicks after reading this for about a year. I wanted to see that post that has "meet the flock"..where you introduce each of the hens and what breed they are and how you got them, but I can't find it! Direct me to it please? LOVE this blog!
Commonplace, I'm so glad you've gotten yourself a flock. Those posts are in the column on the right, labeled "Previous Posts" under Feb 2010. Hatsy was a production hybrid, Lil'White is a Buff Orpington, Lucy is a Barred Plymouth Rock, and Jenny was a Black Australorp. They were my original four. Now I have five: Pigeon, a Barred Rock; Daisy, RIR; and Fern, an Ameraucana, And I still have Lil'White and Lucy, who are four years old now.
Tell her I think she has a cute, fluffy butt. :)
